Luxury Restroom Trailer Planning Checklist
Everything You Need to Know Before Your Luxury Restroom Trailer Arrives
Planning an outdoor event involves dozens of important details, and restroom facilities are one of the easiest things to overlook until the last minute. Taking a few minutes to review this planning checklist can help ensure a smooth delivery and a successful event.
Whether you're planning a wedding, backyard celebration, vineyard event, corporate gathering, graduation party, family reunion, or private event, this guide explains everything you need to know before your luxury restroom trailer is delivered.
Our goal is to make the process simple. By preparing your site ahead of time, we can complete the delivery efficiently and help avoid unexpected delays or service calls during your event.
Before You Request a Quote
Having a few details ready allows us to provide the most accurate recommendation and pricing.
Helpful information includes:
• Event date
• Delivery address
• Estimated guest count
• Event duration
• Preferred trailer location
• Type of ground surface (grass, gravel, asphalt, concrete, etc.)
• Availability of fresh water
• Availability of electrical power
• Photos of the setup location if available
If you aren't sure about any of these items, don't worry. We're happy to help.
Delivery Access
Our restroom trailers are delivered with heavy-duty one-ton pickup trucks. Because of their size, we need enough room to safely enter, position, and remove the trailer after your event.
Please look for possible obstacles such as:
• Low tree branches
• Roof overhangs
• Utility lines
• Decorative lighting
• Tight driveways
• Fences
• Gates
• Large landscaping rocks
• Parked vehicles
• Sharp corners
If you have any concerns about access, sending us a few photos or an overhead satellite screenshot before booking is extremely helpful. It allows us to review your site and recommend the safest placement.
Overhead Clearance
Our luxury restroom trailers require approximately 11½ feet of overhead clearance during delivery.
Please watch for:
• Tree branches
• Utility wires
• Carports
• Building overhangs
• Decorative arches
• Outdoor lighting
Even if the trailer itself appears to fit, remember the truck towing it also needs adequate clearance while turning.
Trailer Width Requirements
To comfortably accommodate the trailer and allow guests to safely enter and exit, we recommend approximately 15 feet of total width.
This includes:
• Approximately 8 feet for the trailer
• Approximately 5 feet on the passenger side for the entrance stairs
• A minimum of 2 feet on the driver's side for access to the mechanical compartment
Keeping this area clear also provides room for servicing if needed.
Trailer Length
Depending on the trailer selected, allow up to 20 feet of total trailer length.
In addition to the trailer itself, enough room is needed for the tow vehicle to safely position the trailer during delivery and removal.
A Level Setup Area
Our trailers are designed to operate on relatively level ground.
Minor unevenness is completely normal.
As a general guideline:
• Side-to-side should not vary by more than approximately 6 inches.
• Front-to-back can vary slightly more, although additional slope may affect the height of the entrance steps.
If you're unsure whether your site is level enough, simply send us a few photos and we'll gladly review it with you.
Turning Radius
One of the most important factors is having enough room to maneuver both the truck and trailer.
Please consider:
• Wide turns
• Entrance gates
• Driveway width
• Parking areas
• Trees
• Landscaping
• Buildings
• Decorative walls
We also need enough room to safely exit the property after the trailer is delivered and again when it is picked up.
Tight Access Areas
Some locations have limited access but may still be accessible.
In certain situations, we can use our electric trailer dolly to carefully maneuver the trailer into areas where the truck cannot safely reach.
This service requires additional setup time and is available for an additional fee.
If you believe your location has limited access, please let us know during the quoting process.
Ground Conditions
Luxury restroom trailers are heavy and require stable ground.
Suitable surfaces include:
• Concrete
• Asphalt
• Compacted gravel
• Firm grass
Please avoid:
• Muddy lawns
• Saturated ground
• Soft soil
• Areas with underground drain fields
• Septic systems
• Hidden culverts
• Underground utilities
• Areas that may collapse under the trailer's weight
Please remember that driving across grass may leave tire marks or minor lawn disturbance, especially during wet weather.
Fresh Water Requirements
Our luxury restroom trailers require access to fresh water.
Please provide:
• A standard residential hose-thread spigot
• Fresh potable water
• Water located within approximately 100 feet of the trailer
Not sure what type of faucet you have? Feel free to send us a picture.
If fresh water is unavailable, ask us about available freshwater tank options.
Electrical Requirements
For most spring, summer, and fall events, our trailers require:
• One dedicated 110-volt electrical outlet
• Minimum 15-amp circuit
• A dedicated circuit with no other heavy electrical loads
• A dedicated 20-amp circuit is preferred whenever available
We provide up to 100 feet of electrical cord with each rental.
Additional extension cord is available for an additional fee if needed.
For certain winter events, trailers using higher-capacity heating systems may require a 220-volt 30-amp or 50-amp electrical connection. We'll discuss those requirements during the booking process if applicable.
Generator Rental
No electrical outlet available?
No problem.
Generator rentals are available and include:
• Generator
• Fuel
• Delivery
• Pickup
Generator rentals are available for an additional fee.
Standard Delivery Schedule
For most weekend events, our standard schedule is:
Friday — Delivery
Monday — Pickup
This schedule allows us to efficiently serve multiple customers while giving you extra time before and after your event.
If your event requires:
• Saturday delivery
• Sunday pickup
• Same-day delivery and pickup
• After-hours service
Additional scheduling fees may apply.
Street Placement
Whenever possible, we recommend placing our restroom trailers on private property.
If placement on a public street is requested:
• The customer is responsible for obtaining any required permits or written approval from the city or local jurisdiction.
• The location must allow safe delivery and removal.
• We reserve the right to decline street placements in locations where there is an increased risk of damage from passing traffic, limited access, or security concerns.
Our goal is to protect both your event and our equipment while providing dependable service.
Delivery Walk-Through
We ask that a designated contact person be present during delivery.
Before we leave, we'll review:
• Trailer operation
• Electrical connection
• Water connection
• Climate controls
• Lighting
• Door locks
• Trailer placement
• Any questions you may have
This brief walk-through helps prevent confusion during your event and significantly reduces the chance of an unnecessary service call.
Send Us Photos
One of the easiest ways to ensure a smooth delivery is by sending us a few photos of the setup location.
Helpful photos include:
• Driveway entrance
• Trailer location
• Water source
• Electrical outlet
• Access route
• An overhead satellite screenshot from Google Maps or Apple Maps
These photos allow us to identify potential concerns before delivery and help ensure everything goes smoothly on event day.
